Coronavirus information

From 10 December, the wearing of face coverings is compulsory for staff and customers (unless exempt) in most indoor public places and on public transport, including taxis. This is part of the temporary and precautionary measures introduced by the Government to help prevent the spread of the new COVID-19 Omicron variant in the UK.

Face coverings are not required in hospitality venues where food and drink are consumed (such as pubs, caf├ęs and restaurants), or during exercise (such as gyms), including dancing (such as nightclubs).
