Invitation to Ash Road Bridge public information events

We invite you to attend a public information event where you can find out more about our proposed road bridge over the railway line to the south of the existing level crossing at Ash Railway Station.

Two events are being held:

Wednesday 23 January 2019, between 3 and 7pm at The Ash Centre, Ash Hill Road, Road, Ash, Aldershot, GU12 5DP.

Thursday 24 January 2019, between 4 and 8pm at The Ash Centre, Ash Hill Road, Road, Ash, Aldershot, GU12 5DP.

Independent council watchdogs wanted

We are looking for three volunteers to be formally co-opted as independent members to serve alongside councillors on Guildford Borough Council's Corporate Governance and Standards Committee from May 2019. For more information and to apply please read Independent council watchdogs wanted.

 



Volunteers Fair

The Mayor of Guildford, Councillor Mike Parsons, will be holding a Volunteers Fair on Thursday 4 April 2019 from 11am - 3pm.

  • The fair will be held in Guildford High Street with a similar format to our Farmers' Market.

  • Local voluntary and charity groups will have the chance to showcase their work and recruit potential volunteers.

  • Due to licensing regulations, charities will not be able to collect donations on the day.

  • A nominal fee will be charged.
