Send Neighbourhood Plan consultation starts 17 January

A six-week consultation on the Send Neighbourhood Plan 2019-2034 will begin on Friday 17 January 2020. Residents will have until 28 February to share their views on the plan.

Following Guildford Borough Council's designation of the Send Neighbourhood Area on 2 July 2015, Send Parish Council has engaged with members of the local community and other stakeholders to produce the Send Neighbourhood Plan.

A neighbourhood plan is a document containing planning policies for a single neighbourhood area. If the plan is adopted, it will become part of the Development Plan for the borough and be used to help determine planning applications within the Send Neighbourhood Area (Send Parish and Ward), along with the Council's Local Plan and other considerations.

Please visit the consultation website at guildford.inconsult.uk to view the plan and share your views from 12pm on Friday 17 January.

Printed copies of the plan will be available to view during the consultation at Guildford Borough Council's Millmead offices and at Guildford Library.

If you want to know more about the proposal, or neighbourhood planning in general, please contact our Planning Policy Team by email at planningpolicy@guildford.gov.uk or by telephone on 01483 444604.
