Fifty years of friendship - celebrating the Friends of Guildford House
This year, the Friends of Guildford House will celebrate 50 years since the group's foundation by Iris Hawkins, former curator at Guildford House.

Over the decades the Friends have made possible the purchase of many important works for Guildford Borough's art collection, including ceramics, textiles and paintings. These include portraits by the renowned 18th century pastellist John Russell RA.
Some of those treasures are shown in this display, which is a celebration of the Friends of Guildford House and their role in developing this collection.
Free entry.
Venue: the Garden Room at Guildford House Gallery.
