Receiving a Council Tax or Business Rates bill electronically

To receive your next Council Tax or Business Rates bill electronically, please email us at ctax@guildford.gov.uk or brates@guildford.gov.uk with 'online' written in the subject field and your name and address in the email.

We are close to completing the development of e-bills and when we have, we will email you, inviting you to sign up for an online account.

An online account will allow you to:

  • view future bills online
  • view the balance on your account at any time
  • see when the next instalment is due
  • check that the details we hold are correct.

You can already make a payment online on our Pay Online page and you can tell us when your circumstances have changed, or your address has changed, using our online Change of Circumstances form.

Checking your benefit claim online

We are continuing to develop our online services. Soon you will be able to:

  • view and check your benefit claim online
  • find out when your next payment will be made
  • update your claim when your circumstances change.
