Registering cooling towers
Cooling towers provide cooled water for air-conditioning, manufacturing and electric power generation.
If you have a cooling tower, you should have measures to prevent or control the risk of legionella as described in Legionnaires' disease: The control of Legionella bacteria in water systems. Otherwise, other measures need to be put in place to prevent or control the risk of legionella and they must be as equally effective.
