Request to hire the Rotunda

The Rotunda is a bricked circle of approximately 9m diameter. It can be hired for commercial and charity events.

It is located opposite the Friary Shopping Centre at the end of Friary Street, GU1 4YW.

There is no electricity or water available on site.

Commercial hire costs (per day)

• Weekday £100
• Saturday £150
• Sunday £100

Charity hire costs (per day)

• Monday to Friday £50
• Saturday £75
• Sunday £50

If you are interested in hiring the Rotunda, email events@guildford.gov.uk. We will then send you a provisional booking form.

For all bookings we will need:

• information about the proposed activity
• risk assessment
• evidence of £5million public liability insurance
• evidence of £5million product liability cover

We also need evidence of the correct licensing. These could include:

• a street trading license if selling goods
• a charity collection licence
• a temporary events (TENS) licence if selling alcohol
