Targeted Youth Support
Targeted Youth Support works with young people. They work to support their needs and their families. The service provides support towards positive changes at:
- home
- school
- or in the community
Before making a referral
- consider if the child or young person's needs can be met by services from professionals
- use the Surrey Family Information Service website (opens new window) and Surrey Family Information Directory (opens new window) to find support
- gain consent from the parents or carers before making a referral. Except where doing so may increase the risk of harm to the child or young person
- if you are unsure about the course of action call 0300 470 9100 and choose the consultation option
Make a referral
Referrals for Targeted Youth Support go through Surrey Children's Single Point of Access. The Single Point of Access will review the level of need for the child and family. They will then try offer the appropriate level of support.
