Update: water supply issues in the GU1, GU2, GU3, GU4 and GU5 areas has been resolved

The majority of customers' supply should have returned by now. However for those who are still without supply, this will be as a result of air pockets. Read advice from Thames Water about no water or low pressure

If you are still experiencing issues with your water supply this morning you can get free bottled water from a Thames Water bottled water station. For water stations opening times and updates, visit Thames Water website.

If you need support from an engineer to get your water supply back to normal, please call Thames Water on 0800 316 9800.

Remembering our loved ones at Christmas

Christmas tree with golden hanging bauble

The annual Christmas service of remembrance at our Crematorium is on Tuesday 6 December at 6.30pm.

There will be carols, readings and a chance to light a candle in memory of loved ones.

Councillor James Steel, Lead Cllr for Environment, said:

"This special Christmas service is a wonderful opportunity for people to remember their loved ones over the festive period.  There is also the chance to write a message on a memorial star to go on our Christmas tree."

The service is free to attend but please call 01483 444711 to reserve a seat.

If you are unable to attend, you can send your message by email to and it will be written for you and hung on the tree.
