Tender Open For Experienced Leisure Services Partner

Front of Spectrum Leisure Centre

We are looking for an experienced and visionary leisure partner to operate and manage our leisure services. A partner keen to deliver award winning leisure activities accessible to all. The successful partner will be able to embrace our values, shape our leisure provision, and deliver high quality leisure services that meet our corporate vision.

The ten-year contract starting in November 2025, includes:

  • Guildford Spectrum Leisure Centre
  • Ash Manor Leisure Centre
  • Guildford Lido

Lead Councillor for Commercial Services, Cllr Catherine Houston said:

"We're excited to explore how our leisure services can evolve to meet the changing needs of our residents in the mid-21st century. A new contract opens up the possibility for more flexibility in what we can offer and how we can offer it. The current Leisure Partnership Agreement limits options like outdoor winter swimming and length of the Lido summer season. While we are unable to promise specific changes at this stage, we're now in a position to explore new ideas and carefully consider all options moving forward."

Cllr Houston added,

"An equally important priority for us, if not more so, is partnering with a provider who's equipped to support the decarbonisation of the Spectrum Leisure Centre and the Guildford Lido. We know there are experts who can help make these iconic venues more sustainable. We hope they'll be inspired to join us in creating a greener, cleaner borough as we work towards our climate goals."
