Ash Parish Council By-Election (Ash South Ward)

Vote at elections

A vacancy has arisen in the office of Councillor at Ash Parish Council to represent the people of the Ash South Ward of that parish. The required number of registered voters have duly claimed a by-election to fill the vacancy.

If the by-election is contested, the poll would be held on Thursday 29 May 2025.

Eligible persons who wish to be candidates at this by-election must deliver duly completed nomination papers to the Returning Officer as soon as possible, but in any event by no later than 4pm on Wednesday 30 April 2025.

Other statutory public notices will be published at this page as the election timetable progresses, if the by-election is contested. If only one candidate were to be nominated, no poll would be taken, and that person would be declared elected uncontested.
