Draft Tall Buildings SPD

We're producing a Tall Buildings SPD for Guildford Town Centre. We carried out a six week consultation on the draft Tall Buildings SPD during June-August 2025. You can access the draft on our consultation webpage (opens new window). 

We also carried out a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and Habitat Regulations Assessment (HRA) screening. Read our determination statement (PDF, 1 MB)

A report to the Council's Executive is intended to be tabled on 6 November 2025 to consider a final draft of the SPD and whether it should be adopted.
