Update: water supply issues in the GU1, GU2, GU3, GU4 and GU5 areas has been resolved

The majority of customers' supply should have returned by now. However for those who are still without supply, this will be as a result of air pockets. Read advice from Thames Water about no water or low pressure

If you are still experiencing issues with your water supply this morning you can get free bottled water from a Thames Water bottled water station. For water stations opening times and updates, visit Thames Water website.

If you need support from an engineer to get your water supply back to normal, please call Thames Water on 0800 316 9800.

We only collect bins issued by Guildford Borough Council. Do not put any other bins out for collection. Put all food in the larger green caddy for collection. We do not collect the silver food waste caddy.

Leave textiles or electronic waste neatly next to your bins. Put them in a carrier bag and keep any textiles dry. Batteries need to be in a clear plastic bag.

If you're a commercial waste customer, you'll need to log in to your MyGuildford account to check your next bin collection date.

Where should I put my bins?

Unless you have a special arrangement, like an assisted collection, leave your bins at your collection point. This is usually at the edge of your property closest to the road.

You need to put your bins out by 6:30am on the collection day.
