Toilet Facilities (Important Information)
Before booking, please be aware that:
toilet facilities are chemical toilets housed within brick toilet blocks, not mains-connected flushing toilets
each group is responsible for the use, cleanliness and security of its allocated toilet block
before departure, your group must empty the chemical toilet into the on-site cesspit and leave it clean and ready for the next users
If you are looking for a campsite with flushing toilets, showers or serviced facilities, this site will not be suitable for your needs.
Oak Processionary Moth
Oak processionary moth caterpillars (OPM) and their nests are in this woodland and may be in oak trees within the campsite area. OPM caterpillars carry thousands of microscopic urticating hairs which can cause minor to severe skin rash, respiratory and eye problems. Caterpillars or their nests should not be approached or touched.
We aim to remove nests from oak trees within the campsite area as soon as possible.
