  • we clean Guildford town centre during the day

Sweeper schedules

Large sweepers sweep main routes monthly. Most adjoining roads are swept every three months. This schedule is based on a full fleet of sweepers.          We're currently running with reduced sweepers.

A small sweeper cleans residential roads three times a year.

Leaves are collected on the normal sweeping schedule. In the autumn and winter we hire more equipment to deal with this. Most of the leaves we collect are composted. Certain roads in the borough get special treatment during the autumn. This is due to the size and number of trees.
