Borough councillors
Under the Localism Act 2011, the council has a duty to promote and maintain high standards of conduct by its councillors and any co-opted members.

You can find a copy of each councillor's register of interests using our Councillor search. The search will also help you to find contact details and committee memberships.

Parish councillors
The various codes of conduct adopted by our 23 parish councils are kept at their respective parish council offices. You can view them on request by contacting the relevant parish clerk. You can find the clerk's contact details on our Parish Council information pages.

How to make a complaint
The council has agreed arrangements for dealing with allegations of misconduct by councillors and co-opted members of Guildford Borough Council and of the 23 parish councils within the borough. You may view a copy of these arrangements and other useful documents in the downloads section below.
