Local government in Surrey is changing, from 1 April 2027, Guildford Borough Council and Surrey County Council will be replaced by a new unitary authority called West Surrey Council.

New planning application for North Street

We have received a new mixed use planning application for the redevelopment of North Street. This is for the land bounded by the Friary Centre Bus Station, North Street and Leapale Road.

Why has this been submitted?

St Edwards have submitted this new planning application to address the reasons for refusal of the previous planning application.

When will this go to the Planning Committee?

We expect the current planning application to be considered by the Planning Committee in October 2023.
