Hot weather

Bin collections

Due to the high temperatures, our bin crews will be starting collections earlier than usual to help keep them safe in the heat. Please make sure your bins are out the night before, as collections will take place from 5.30am for the rest of the week. Thank you for helping our crews work safely during the hot weather.

Adopt a street

The adopt a street scheme is temporarily unavailable. 

Adopting a street means you can carry out litter picks whenever you want. You can also give us information which we will act on if needed. We'll provide safety guidance and equipment from our Woking Road Depot:

You'll need to throw any waste away yourself. Either put it in your bins or go to Slyfield Community Recycling Centre (opens new window) (Slyfield tip).
