Adopt a street

Our street cleaning crews already work hard to keep Guildford's streets clean and this scheme will enhance the work they do.

Volunteers who adopt a street will be given a litter picker, hi-vis waistcoat and health and safety guidance to enable them to carry out litter picks on their street whenever they want to. The equipment will need to be collected from our Woking Road Depot.

The waste collected must be disposed of by the volunteer, either in their own refuse bin or at Slyfield Community Recycling Centre.

Volunteers will also be able to contact us with prompt and accurate information that we will then action.

If you are interested in signing up to the scheme as a volunteer, please complete our Adopt a Street online form.
