As a blue badge holder, you may park in a pay and display bay free of charge, resident bay, or dual use bay on the street without time limit, providing a valid blue badge is displayed.
The badge should be placed on the top of the dashboard or facia panel of the vehicle with the front of the badge displayed (the side showing the wheelchair-user symbol). You do not need to display your clock in these bays.
If you park in a disabled bay on the street, this will be restricted to a maximum stay of three hours and you will need to display the time clock with your arrival time and badge.
Parking on a single or double yellow line is restricted to a maximum of three hours and the time clock must be displayed in addition to the blue badge. If loading restrictions are in force on the yellow line (indicated by yellow 'blips' on the kerb) blue badge holders are not permitted to park at all whilst these restrictions are in force.
Car parks
Blue badge holders may park free of charge and without time limit in any of Guildford Borough Council's pay and display car parks. Blue badges holders are not allowed to park in any of the pay on exit car parks without paying the normal car parking charges.
