Building Control Applications
Building Control applications are not displayed on a public register. Unlike Planning Applications, there is no general public right to inspect plans deposited under the Building Regulations.
These applications are also subject to the GDPR and FOIA. However, as the owner of a property we do allow you (or your representative) to examine previously submitted plans where, for example, you are doing so in order to help prepare an application under the Building Regulations.
The applications and their associated documents including drawings and supporting information are processed under the building act and building regulations. Your information will be used for the purpose of registering, validating and deciding your building control application.
