Properties where all occupants are under 18
How to apply
- log in to your MyGuildford account (opens new window)
- click the 'council tax and benefits' tile
- select 'continue' on the 'view other services' page
- select 'council tax' on the 'your services' page
- on your account summary page, find the list of quick links
- if you're using a computer or laptop these will be on the right-hand side of the screen
- if you're using a mobile device, click 'quick links'
- in the list of quick links find 'apply for or cancel an exemption'
- fill in the form telling us:
- the date the property became occupied only by people under 18
- the names of the people living in the house
- proof of age of the people living in house - this could be a photo of a passport, driving licence or birth certificate. You'll need to upload photos of the documents.
