What are polling districts, places and stations?
- Polling districts are geographical electoral areas into which wards, and communities, may be sub-divided. In parishes each parish or parish ward should consist of whole polling districts.
- Polling places are the buildings or areas designated by the council where voters in a polling district go to vote in person.
- Polling stations is the area within the polling place that voters are issued their ballot papers.
