Draft Green Belt Supplementary Planning Document (SPD)

The construction of new buildings is generally considered 'inappropriate' in the Green Belt. There are exceptions to this.

The Draft Green Belt SPD:

• provides more advice and guidance
• explains how we will interpret exceptions
• makes clear how we decide planning applications when we apply national and local Green Belt policy
