Community Wellbeing team named Finalist in "Make a Difference Awards"
Our Community Wellbeing team are finalists in the prestigious "Make a Difference Awards". Out of thousands of nominations made, only four finalists made the cut in the 'Together' category. Our team were nominated by Repair Café Coordinator, Susi.
BBC Radio Sussex and BBC Radio Surrey have run the awards for 12 years. It gives local people the chance to recognise those who make their lives better.

Local resident, Tracy Valler visits the team at the Hive regularly. She was so pleased to hear the news:
"We all see the Community Wellbeing team working so hard to help people and bring our communities together. I'm really happy to see they're getting the appreciation they deserve!
"I find it really reassuring to know I can come to the Hive if ever I need a bit of extra help. Whether it's a coffee and a chat with a friendly face or using the community fridge, they're always there ready to help make your worries just a little bit less. I can't think of a more deserving group to receive this nomination, we're all cheering them on to win!"
