The Guildford Access Group is in search of this year's nominees for The Mayor's Award for Access.

The awards ceremony will be on Tuesday 17 October at 7pm, in The Guildford Baptist Church, Millmead.

The Guildford Access Group

Gemma Roulston and Diana Lockyer-Nibbs are the Co-Chairpersons of the Guildford Access Group.

The Access Group for Guildford was founded in 1978. At the time, there was almost no legislation protecting disabled people. The Group represents a wide range of residents, including:

  • elected councillors
  • Guildford Borough Council officers
  • Surrey County Council officers 

The Access Group can give advice on designing an accessible environment.
