The Mayor's award for sportsmanship

The Mayor hopes to raise several thousand pounds thanks to:

  • generous donations
  • sponsorship
  • team entry fees
  • the raffle
  • secret auction

The money raised will help the Fountain Centre continue supporting cancer patients and their loved ones through a cancer diagnosis.

The current Mayor of Guildford, Cllr Sallie Barker, said,
"The feeling and ethos behind the tournament was amazing. There was a lovely atmosphere and community spirit throughout the day.

"Both Masuk and I have been delighted with the way the day went. We want to thank everyone who has helped behind the scenes to make the day such a success. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who made this event possible."

Our special thanks goes to the committee at Guildford City Boys and Girls FC for organising and running such a successful tournament, along with the Guildford Lions for their marshalling on the day. Of course, the event could not have taken place without the generous sponsorship from Martin Grant Homes.
