From 1 October 2022, the Assistant Directors are responsible for these functions across both Guildford Borough Council and Waverley Borough Council:
Democracy and Governance: Alex Polak
- cabinet office (support to Executive councillors)
- civic office
- democratic services
- electoral services
- executive support (support to Joint Leadership Team officers)
Legal Services and Information Governance: Claire Beesly
- legal services - planning, contracts and litigation law
- information governance, including Freedom of Information and Subject Access Requests.
Joint Assistant Director of People & OD: Claire Weavis
