We are inviting residents to help shape the future of Guildford borough by sharing their views for our annual Delivery Plan.

An online survey is now open to gather public feedback on our Delivery Plan. This outlines the most significant actions and activities we will undertake based on the key priorities in our new Corporate Strategy.

The Corporate Strategy is our long-term vision for creating opportunities for all in Guildford borough. It serves as the foundation for decision-making, influencing budget allocations and service delivery. The strategy is built around five key priorities:

  1. A More Sustainable Borough
  2. A More Prosperous Borough
  3. A More Inclusive Borough
  4. Decent and Affordable Homes
  5. A Resilient and Well-Managed Council

We have recently consulted with local businesses, public sector partners, and educational institutions on our Delivery Plan, and we are now encouraging all residents to have their say on the actionable things that they believe should be included in the plan.

Leader of Guildford Borough Council, Cllr Julia McShane, emphasised the importance of public participation in shaping the Delivery Plan:

"As a council we're working hard to improve the lives of everyone who calls Guildford home.

"It's only by listening and understanding the needs of our communities that we can shape the future of our borough. We want to make it a greener, fairer, thriving place to live, work and do business.

"Our key priorities provide the framework for achieving our vision, but for this to be successful it's important our residents have their say."

The Delivery Plan survey is open until the 14 March. We encourage residents to take part to make sure their views are heard.
