A vacancy has arisen in the office of Councillor at Guildford Borough Council to represent the people of the Onslow Ward. The required number of registered voters have duly claimed a by-election to fill the vacancy.

If the by-election is contested, the poll would be held on Thursday 7 May 2026.

Eligible persons who wish to be candidates at this by-election must deliver duly completed nomination papers to the Returning Officer as soon as possible, but in any event by no later than 4pm on Thursday 9 April 2026.
