We offer businesses a competitive and diverse waste and recycling service. There are many benefits to using our service:

When you apply for our service, we will give you a quote for the waste collection needs of your business. 

Our general waste collection service is for non-recyclable waste. This is often called refuse waste. We can give advice to your business on the best ways to reduce, reuse and recycle.

You can combine our general refuse service with a recycling collection - mixed recycling, glass and cardboard. Ensuring your waste is separated out correctly.

Collection times

Collections are as often as you need, from Monday to Saturday, between 5.30am and 1pm.

In Guildford town centre, we offer a general waste sack collection service every weekday evening.

We work on Bank Holidays, so your collection day will remain the same. Except for any changes over Christmas and New Year.

Container type

Wheeled bins

We offer wheeled refuse bins in

• 360 litres
• 770 litres
• 1100 litres

You can have as many bins as you need. Make sure that you choose the right size bin. Our crew will not be able to swap the bin size upon delivery.

Sacks

This works for businesses that produce different amounts of waste or have no space for a container. You can present as many or as few sacks as you need for each collection.

Grey trade waste sacks are 80 litres in size and are sold in quantities of 50. We deliver your sack order to your premises. Make sure that you choose the right amount of sacks. Our crew will not be able to change the amount upon delivery. 

Additional collections

If your business has had a busy week, or you an event planned, we can schedule another time to empty your refuse containers. Contact us to arrange this.

We offer businesses a mixed recycling service that is tailored to your business needs.

On a like-for-like comparison, recycling containers are up to 30% cheaper than refuse containers.

Collection times:

Collections are Monday to Friday, between 5.30am and 1pm. We work with our customers to agree a collection frequency that is suitable.

Additional collections

If your business has had a busy week, or you have an event planned, we are able to carry out additional emptying of your waste containers outside of your usual collection schedule. Contact us to arrange this.

Our glass recycling service collects mixed glass bottles and jars. There is no need to separate your glass into different colours.

Collection frequencies

Glass collections in Guildford take place on:

• Mondays
• Fridays
• Saturdays (fortnightly)

Your collection frequency will depend on how much glass you produce and your storage space.

Container type

We collect glass from 240 litres wheeled bins, making them easy for you to move.

Free cardboard collections if you subscribe to one of our other commercial waste services.

Collection frequencies

If you regularly have large quantities of cardboard:

• Our service operates Monday to Friday, between 5.30am and 1pm.
• The town centre collection takes place on Tuesday and Thursday. Present your loose cardboard in front of your premises by 9.30am at the latest.

If your cardboard quantities vary:

You can Contact us and request a collection. This can be once a month, or once every few months.

Container type

You need to keep your cardboard in a sheltered area to keep it dry. We collect cardboard loose. Bins for cardboard can be provided. This can be discussed with our commercial waste and recycling team.

Our food waste collection service is aimed at businesses producing large quantities of food waste.  

What we collect

Our commercial food waste collection service will take:

• dairy products
• fish, fruit
• vegetables
• meat
• bones
• bread
• pastries
• tea bags
• coffee grounds
• rice
• pasta
• beans

The waste must not include packaging, liquids, oil, liquid fats, black bin liners or any material that is not food.

Food waste bins should be lined with a plastic liner - not a black bin liner as these are used for general refuse.

Collection frequencies

Our services run from Monday to Saturday.

Your collection frequency will depend on what you need as a business, the quantity of food waste you produce and the storage space you have available for your containers.
