Our Westborough and Park Barn Better Homes Programme 

We're working with the Westborough and Park Barn community to explore how we can provide high-quality Council-owned homes and a thriving neighbourhood, both now and into the future.    

Through the Westborough and Park Barn Better Homes Programme, we'll explore long-term improvements to the area. These may include: 

• upgrades to existing homes
• redevelopment opportunities  
• improvements to shared and public spaces

We believe residents should live in a home they can be proud of - one that is warm, secure, energy efficient, well maintained, and able to support them for every stage of life. 

Over the coming months, we'll reach out to hear residents' ideas, priorities, and concerns.  Local people will be able to share their views in person, online, by phone, or in writing.  

No decisions have been made yet. This is the very beginning of the process, and residents will shape what happens next. We're starting an open and meaningful conversation with local people about what matters most to their homes, daily lives, and community.  

We're also inviting local residents to join a new engagement group that will help guide this programme of work. Local knowledge and lived experience will be invaluable, and the group will play a key role as the project develops. 

In time, this group may evolve into a formal Resident Steering Group, offering longer term involvement in the programme.
