Emergencies
Although severe emergencies, such as flooding, power outages, extreme weather and terror attacks are rare, it is important to have plans in place setting out how to deal with the situations if they do happen.
Having a household emergency plan in place to help you and your family can be useful if an emergency arises.
We also want to help residents, community groups and businesses work together to draw up an emergency plan for their area.
Forming a Community Resilience Group, writing an emergency plan and practising carrying it out, can help build a strong and supportive community.
