Pre-pay parking

Auto-Pay digital permits

The pre-payment card system has been replaced with a new digital Auto-Pay permit, the application process is now open.

Autopay applies at our barrier controlled car parks which are at Castle car park, Farnham road car park, Tunsgate car park and York road car park.

This system offers several advantages that enhance a driver's experience, such as:

  • convenience - digital system allows drivers to pay for parking on the go, avoiding having to use a pay station as it charges automatically after each visit
  • flexibility - provides drivers with a more seamless and user-friendly experience
  • cost saving - regular users can benefit from a using auto pay which provides them with a 10% discount off the standard parking tariff
