Viability of carbon emission targets for new builds
This report considers the opportunity to lower carbon emissions of new buildings. It examines both cost and viability of lowering emissions by the following amounts:
- 10% below Building Regulation standards
- 15% below Building Regulation standards
- 20% below Building Regulation standards
This work supports the sustainable design, construction and energy policies in our Local Plan.
