Ukrainian refugee discount
What you need to know
If you're a Ukrainian national, living here under the Homes for Ukraine scheme and on a Homes for Ukraine visa, you may be entitled to a 50% discount.
To apply you must:
- be a Ukrainian national
- live in the UK under the Homes for Ukraine scheme (this does not include the Ukraine Family Visa Scheme)
- live in your own accommodation (not in your sponsors home)
Please note that once your Homes for Ukraine visa expires and you need to apply for another visa, you will no longer be eligible for the discount
How to apply
To apply, email: ctax@guildford.gov.uk and include:
- the address of your property
- the date you moved in
- the date the tenancy started
- the full name of all adults at the property
- a copy of the Home Office invitation letter for each adult (word or pdf format) as e-mail attachments.
What happens next
We will contact you if we need any further information. If you're entitled to the discount, we'll send you a new bill.
