Our Executive Considers New Leisure Contract

Last night the Guildford Borough Council Executive, considered the proposed new leisure services contract, recently reviewed by the Overview and Scrutiny Committee (Services).

Following a comprehensive and competitive procurement process, the Executive approved the intention to award the contract to Wealden Leisure, trading as Freedom Leisure.

The proposed contract will now go before Full Council for final approval on Tuesday 29 July.

Over the coming weeks, the Council will share further updates on the new contract, including details of the exciting enhancements and improvements residents can expect from their local leisure services.
