Your council tax, benefits or business rates account will be offline

From 5pm on Tuesday 11 February until Sunday 16 February you will not be able to access your council tax, benefits or business rates account online. This is whilst we prepare annual bills. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Once you have been through a short registration process you can: 

  • log in at a time that suits you - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week 
  • see the status of your claim and entitlement 
  • see when your next Housing Benefit payment is due and the amount 
  • view your benefit notifications 
  • report a change 
  • upload documents

You'll just need to: 

  1. sign up for a MyGuildford Account 
  2. once you're signed up, sign into your new MyGuildford Account and click the 'Benefits' tile 
  3. follow the on-screen instructions (you'll need your claim reference number and your National Insurance number to hand)
  4. your account is validated, and you can now access your account

With a MyGuildford Account you can also: 

  • check your bin collection day 
  • pay your council tax  
  • manage your council services including missed bins and bulky waste orders 
  • get a quicker response to your requests, track the progress of your requests and get information based on your address
