What is the Statement of Community Involvement?
The Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 requires the local planning authority to prepare a 'Statement of Community Involvement' (SCI).
The SCI is a document setting out how we involve the community and other interested individuals and groups as we prepare planning policies and guidance and when we consider planning applications in Guildford borough.
