Neighbourhood planning in Albury - more information

Albury Neighbourhood Area Consultation

Albury Parish Council applied for a neighbourhood area from on 9 November 2016. We consulted on the proposal between 23 January and 19 February 2017. Read a copy of the application (PDF, 397 KB).

After the consultation and a period of consideration, officers recommended designating the neighbourhood area as proposed. Learn how we reached this decision in the Albury neighbourhood area designation report (PDF, 781 KB). 

Strategic Environmental Assessment and Habitats Regulations Assessment

Albury Parish Council asked us to determine whether the proposed plan would require a:

  • Strategic Environmental Assessment environmental report
  • Habitat Regulations Assessment appropriate assessment

The screening request included information setting out the proposed scope of the neighbourhood plan policies. We screened the proposals and determined that the plan would need an environmental report but would not need an appropriate assessment.
