Right to Buy - new changes announced
The Right to Buy (RtB) Agent Service will close on a permanent basis at 5pm on 30th September 2025.
Tenants will continue to be able to access information about the RtB scheme on the GOV.UK platform. More information can be found at Right to Buy: buying your council home

Local authorities will continue to have a role to play in responding to queries from their tenants who have questions about the Right to Buy scheme.
