Guildford Lettings Accreditation Scheme

The Guildford Lettings Accreditation Scheme is a voluntary scheme to raise standards of property management within the private rented sector in Guildford.

The accreditation scheme has been set up in partnership with Guildford Borough Council, The University of Surrey, Surrey Students Union and a number of other stakeholders.

The Guildford Lettings Accreditation Scheme is also part of UK Landlord Accreditation Partnership (UKLAP) and the London Landlord Accreditation Scheme (LLAS). Landlords who gain accreditation are demonstrating that they are operating a professional business and committed to providing high standards of accommodation and management for their tenants.

Accreditation provides landlords with a market advantage as tenants seek out those landlords with accredited status. Other benefits of accreditation include access to information and advice relating to the private rented sector and access to discounts on services such as insurance.
