Your council tax, benefits or business rates account will be offline

From 5pm on Tuesday 23 February until Sunday 1 March you will not be able to access your council tax, benefits or business rates account online. This is whilst we prepare annual bills. We apologise for any inconvenience.

What happens next?

We aim to set up your account within 10 working days and issue you a bill in the post. We'll contact you if we need more information.

Manage your council tax online

You can manage your council tax account online. You can set this up after you receive your first bill by post.

To manage your council tax online you'll need to:

  • sign up or log in to your MyGuildford account
  • link your council tax account with your MyGuildford account

Once linked, you can:

  • set up a direct debit
  • request a reduction or discount to your bill
  • tell us about changes that might affect your bill
