Sunday 19 August

13:00           The Mayor, Councillor Mike Parsons, accompanied by the Mayoress, Mrs Jean Parsons, attends the Guildford Twinning Association Summer Party Lunch at Guildford College of Further and Higher Education, Merrist Wood Campus, Worplesdon.

 

Tuesday 21 August

14:30           The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, attends the West Clandon Parish Council Tuesday CafĂ©for Afternoon Tea in the Poppy Room at the Royal British Legion, West Clandon.

 

Thursday 23 August

09:30           The Mayor attends a site visit to the Voluntary Action South West Surrey office in Castle Street, Guildford, in relation to the Mayor's Award for Access.

12:00           The Mayor attends a site visit to Guildford Library in relation to the Mayor's Award for Access.

 

Saturday 25 August

10.30           The Mayor attends Guildford Archery Club, at Manor Fruit Farm, Normandy, for a practice session, to help prepare him to shoot the First Arrow to open the Acorn Tournament on Bank Holiday Monday, 27 August.

 

Sunday 26 August

11:30           The Deputy Mayor, Councillor Richard Billington, accompanied by the Deputy Mayoress, Mrs Lynda Billington, will officially open the Family Church Guildford Community Fun Day at Guildford College, Stoke Park Campus, Guildford.

12:00           The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, attends the Celebration of 100 years of Amateur Radio in Guildford at the Guildford Model Engineers Society Headquarters, London Road, Stoke Park, Guildford.

13:30           The Mayor and Mayoress attend the British Tenpin Bowling Association's Tenpin Bowling Youth Triple Crown (England, Scotland and Ireland) at Guildford Spectrum.

 

Bank Holiday Monday, 27 August

09.30           The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, attends Guildford Archery Club at Manor Fruit Farm, Normandy, where the Mayor will shoot the First Arrow to open the Acorn Tournament.

13:35           The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, officially opens the Normandy Parish Council Village Fete at Manor Fruit Farm, Normandy.

 

Wednesday 29 August

14:30           The Mayor attends a site visit to the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guildford, in relation to the Mayor's Award for Access.

 

Thursday 30 August

10:30           The Mayor welcomes to Guildford a delegation from Japan at the Guildhall, who are in Guildford to look at the economy, town centre development, transport, regeneration, retail etc. and will also be given a tour of the town.

 

Friday 31 August

14:30           The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, attends the Ash Parish Dementia Action Alliance's 'Raising Dementia Awareness & Fundraising' event at Ash Wharf by Bridges, Ash.

 

Saturday 1 September

09:25           The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, officially launches this year's Guildford Walkfest at the Percy Arms, Chilworth.

 

Sunday 2 September

17:00           The Mayor, accompanied by the Mayoress, attends the Wey Valley Methodist Church Circuit Service of Celebration at the Walton-on-Thames Methodist Church, Walton-on-Thames.
